The Father & (Very) Amateur Tennis Player
Nick grew up in northwest Sydney and has been hitting balls from the age of 6, training and competing until he enlisted in the Australian Army as a Soldier. Following a tour in Afghanistan he discharged and commenced his studies in Physiotherapy.
Nick moved to Canberra with his wife Veronica (Registered Nurse) and regularly hit the courts chasing down furry yellow balls whilst studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology) followed by a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra.
Nick currently competes in ACT Tennis Leagues and Pennants, and occasionally in AMT tournaments. He also founded and runs a Canberra-based tennis organisation, Canberra Heavy Hitters, with regular leagues and tournaments throughout the year, with all profits going to local charities.
